Twenty four year old Kerry Swift is a brilliant young feature writer on the ‘SUNDAY TIMES’ and a product of an American Field Scholarship in Wisconsin, U.S.A.
During his course there he was awarded a further scholarship to study creative writing, but returned to South Africa, instead and went to Rhodes University where he studied Journalism and African politics.
He comes from family of journalists, his father being a sub editor on the ‘SUNDAY TIMES’ and his brother a sports writer on the ‘Johannesburg Star’. 
Swift has that priceless gift of being able to write with a human touch which gives this, his first book, a wide appeal.“
